Solid Doors

Solid Doors is a leading manufacturer of wooden external and internal doors, windows, sliding doors, mouldings and frames. The company’s chairman and founder identified a need for mass production of wooden doors and frames and in 1969 the company commenced production in Roodepoort, Gauteng. In 1987 the company was listed on the main board of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. Solid Doors is proud to announce the establishment of our new factory in Brits and Ga-Rankuwa. A considerable portion of the labour force employed in these areas works for Solid Doors. With thousands of employees, the company is one of the largest employers in its industry.

Our company head office is situated in Rivonia, Johannesburg and in addition to this, we have distribution centres located in Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, East London, Durban and Namibia. To ensure production continuity, both factories manufacture Solid Doors extensive range of wooden products. We have a total belief in the quality of every item we manufacture, and we pride ourselves on the wide range of products we supply to our customers. Our products are sold to DIY retailers, building merchants and wholesale distributors throughout South Africa, neighbouring states, as well as other African countries and Europe.
